Church Covenant
Called by Grace
Having been called, as we believe, by the grace of God, into the Kingdom of His Son,
Having Confessed Our Faith
and having publicly confessed our faith by baptism into the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit,
Covenanting with Christ's Church
we now enter into solemn covenant with one another to consecrate ourselves to the service of Christ upon the earth. For this purpose, we cheerfully engage, through Divine aid, to strive for prosperity of the Church, by upholding its doctrines, its ordinances and its discipline; by a punctual attendance upon its solemn assemblies; by sustaining the various benevolent and missionary enterprises in which it is engages;
Caring for the Body of Christ
and by exercising toward each of its members a spirit of brotherly love.
Cultivating Our Families in Godliness
We also engage, by the help of the Holy Spirit, to cultivate personal piety in the maintenance of family religion and sobriety in our habits, integrity in our business, purity in our lives, and Christian courtesy in our deportment toward all men.
Contending for Scriptural Truth
Moreover, we engage, by the grace of God, to keep the faith, once for all, delivered to the saints which we believe includes the following:
